Salsa is pretty much tomato sauce no red sauce only cheese sauce better off going to taco bell.

Los Agaves has been open for only close to a year and you can tell they're new. The staff is very friendly and attentive so they haven't gotten bored or cynical yet. The food is made with fresh ingredients and doesn't taste like the pre-packaged stuff that some spots use to save a few bucks. I had the tamale combo platter which was delicious! A nice serving size that doesn't make you feel like you ate a pot of grease. I'd also reccommend the flavored water. A few of the flavors were created by one of the servers after he got bored with regular water. I had the pineapple water but didn't get the chance to try any of the others. I will next time though.I highly reccommend this place if you're looking for good, authentic tasting Mexican food. The prices are great too!

Employees were super nice but just running all over the place and have a huge sign saying now serving margaritas on the outside of their building but they've lost their liquor license and can't sell beer or margaritas for right now which was disappointing. I did not like the salsa at all and the cheese dip was good but I had to get it heated up and fresh chips cuz the ones I got were stale. The actual dinner was fairly good but I've had way better. Prices were very reasonable but I probably won't be eating here again as I was just passing through and there's so many other choices between where I was and where I was going!

The building is tired and a little rough. The staff was very friendly. The pricing was good and fair. The salsa and queso was very good and not overly hot like so many Mexican restaurants. The food tasted very good and the portion size was good. Will go again.

So, we came into town to float the river and stopped here to have a drink (signs advertising margaritas) and perhaps a quick bite. First, I will say the hostess was very friendly - a chipper young lady. Always a plus, right? Now - after getting the drinks - they were not good. Didn't taste how a margarita should taste. I'm not sure they put any alcohol in it although she did tell me they put a "cap full". We had 2 each... So 4 drinks... No food... Bill was right at $32... Its been an hour and now I'm almost sure they used less than a "cap full" of tequila. Bad taste + no liquor = bad margarita. Also, no soap or paper towels in the mens room. Silverware wasn't clean (no, we didn't eat but we look at things like that. Tends to be a good indicator of the bigger picture.) I more than likely will not visit this Los Agaves location again. Perhaps a neighboring restaurant will be a better choice.

Not the Mexican food I'm used to in Texas. Fajitas not seasoned and overcooked. Margarita was off too. Bathrooms need some care, but I think the whole place was going through a makeover.

Salsa is okay, combine the green sauce with the red salsa and it tastes better. Chips are crispy and fresh. I ordered a steak burrito armando and requested chopped pineapple inside and it was absolutely delicioso. I'll be going back and recommend this place. Btw service was outstanding, very fast and attentive.

The punch, service, and atmosphere were really good. We got several of the number 7s. Burrito, enchilada, and rice and beans. To us, it was bland and only average in taste. The cost was good for a lot of their items but you get what you pay for food wise. I like the service, drink flavor, and costs over other places. But the food was average and missing some spices or something.

Nice job of Mexican food. The frozen marguerita was excellent as well
